Team Theegala is partnering with the nonprofit Cancer for College to help provide educational opportunities for cancer survivors. A portion of all sales from Team Theegala is donated to Cancer for College to support their important and inspiring work.

As Cancer for College puts it on their website:

“Since our inception, Cancer for College has provided over $6 million in scholarships more than 1,600 cancer survivors. In 2022, we will award over $650,000 in scholarships to more than 100 cancer survivors. We will also provide upwards of $50K in continuing educational opportunities and work to reduce scholar medical debt. The charity has expanded to offer educational experiences, allowing scholars to meet and learn from some of the powerful and successful people who support the cause. We have also formed multiple small virtual mentor groups that are each facilitated by an adult leader. These groups allow scholars to discuss personal issues that they may be facing in life, school, work or their career that may be unique to their cancer journey. Cancer for College scholars successfully graduate from college at a remarkable 98% rate. The charity has come a long way from that first fundraiser. Today it is changing lives for cancer survivors and is making a positive impact on the cancer community.”
